# Creating an Application

An Application is a curated section of a single Model. It allows you to provide users with a guided set of screens that support a business process such as a Budgeting Round, Profitability Analysis, or a Regular Reporting cycle.

## Steps to Create an Application

1. **Navigate to your instance’s home page**\
   From the main navigation, go to the landing page of the instance where you want to create the Application.

2. **Click *Create Application***\
   Under the **Application** header, click the **Create Application** button. This will open the setup form.

3. **Provide details for your Application**

   * **Name**: Enter a clear and descriptive name for the Application.
   * **Model**: Choose which Model this Application will relate to.

Once saved, your new Application will appear under the **Applications** section of your instance.
