# Creating a Month Dimension

We will create a new dimension called **Month** using the settings provided in the corresponding image and hit **Create Dimension**.

Click into the Month Dimension, enter the following values and hit **Save Changes**.

```js
All Months
    Jul
    Aug
    Sep
    Oct
    Nov
    Dec
    Jan
    Feb
    Mar
    Apr
    May
    Jun  
```

Create another hierarchy by going to **Add** and naming it **Quarters**. Enter the following values and hit **Save Changes**.

Full Year
    Q1
        Jul
        Aug
        Sep
    Q2
        Oct
        Nov
        Dec
    Q3
        Jan
        Feb
        Mar
    Q4
        Apr
        May
        Jun
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Annual
```
