# SPLIT

Parses a string using a delimiter and returns a component based on an index (zero based).

```js
SPLIT(input, delimiter, index)
```

#### Parameters

* `input` - The string to be parsed.
* `delimiter` - The delimiter to use for parsing the string.
* `index` - The zero-based index of the component to be returned.

#### Examples

```js
SPLIT("hello,how,are,you,today", ",", 2)
```

**Result:** `"are"`
