# FORMATTIME 

Converts an Excel date/time serial number to a string in the format 'HH:mm:ss'.

```js
FORMATTIME(time_value)
```

#### Parameters

* `time_value` - The Excel date/time serial number to format.

#### Examples

```js
FORMATTIME(44444.5)

```

**Result:** `12:00:00`

```js
FORMATTIME("2023-04-18 13:45:00")

```

**Result:** `13:45:00`
