# CHILDCOUNT

Returns the number of children within a specific parent element within a specified dimension hierarchy.

CHILDCOUNT(dimension, hierarchy, parent)
```

#### Parameters

* `dimension` - The name of the dimension.
* `hierarchy` - The name of the hierarchy.
* `parent` - The name of the parent element.

#### Examples
