# CEIL

Returns the smallest (closest to negative infinity) numeric value that is greater than or equal to the argument and has no decimal places.

CEIL(input_number)
```

#### Parameters

* `input_number` - The number input.

#### Examples

```js
CEIL(2.4)
```

**Result:** `3`
